PORJECT OVERVIEW
This is a project concept and the mentioned entity (Estrel's Caramel Cakes) didn't commission us to redesign their website. Mainly focuses on redesigning the website for Estrel's Caramel Cakes to modernize and showcase their products clearly to attract new loyal young patrons. With this it aims to modernize the website to create a more intuitive and engaging user experience for the users
PROBLEM
Julie is a millennial who loves cakes and is influenced by her childhood food favorites. She moved cities when she was younger, thus, missing the food stores she grew up with. She needs to order a cake for her upcoming birthday and would like to have a pleasant experience in browsing products, placing an order and a smooth delivery process. She would like to order via Estrel’s Caramel Cakes website but the website looks outdated and not user friendly. Additionally, the payment process is a hassle.
OBJECTIVES
Modern and intuitive website for longer time spent browsing
Simplify the order process without any additional steps
Attract younger customer via having a digital footprint
A growth on successful order placements and browsing duration
CONSTRAINTS
- Modernize and simplify the ease of use of the website.
- The website requires Landing Page, Menu, Checkout, Order Status and About Us
- The website should only use the brands color no additional new introduction of colors
